Problem!

So we have lived in our house now for over 2 years and my entry has had nothing in it for over 2 years now. It's a waste of space if you ask me but there is nothing I can do about it except deal with it.

Problem #1: A budget, which doesn't exist. Spending money on things to put there just isn't our top priority right now. However, a few months back I received a small bonus of $100. I've been saving it for just the right thing.

Solution #1: Thanks to craigslist I found this gem. However, it was listed for $250 which was over my $100 limit. I watched it for a few days and then offered $100 and to my surprise the nice lady took it!

Problem #2: Now what to put with it??? Because of funding issues, I wasn't able to buy anything to put with it which posed a huge challenge. Well, as talked about before, I have this amazing sister-in-law named Kendyl and she was up for the challenge.

Solution #2: Kendyl worked her magic with items stashed throughout my house and came up with this. The only items purchased were the red candles which were $2.38.

The only thing left to do is switch out the pictures with updated ones of my kids. I can't believe how awesome it turned out for just $102.38. Just goes to show you that spending lots of money on decor isn't always necessary.

Natalie - how clever! I think that it so cool how you girls made it look so nice on a "no budget" - inspiration to share!
